Hi, Jiwaku has been immensely helpful in my spiritual formation through a dark season of severe depression & anxiety. The onboarding process was simple, and I could get an appointment with Ps. John within 2 weeks. I felt safe in sharing my struggles. Ps John provided a sound biblical framework to process what I am going through, which was helpful as I often could not turn to Scripture in my time of struggle. I took away precious spiritual habits which I am still cultivating today, months after coming out of anxiety and depression. Really thankful for Ps John and the Hi Jiwaku program for helping me to be more spiritually rooted in Christ, even through my struggles.

There is one verse that summarizes my counseling experience with Mandy. Matthew 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mandy professionally listened to me and gave me encouragement to redirect my life towards the light of Jesus Christ.
